About Knot a Gang
It’s us vs. the wall.
We’re Brian Pattison and Connie Biselx, the couple behind Knot a Gang. We started climbing at our local gym, Vertical Endeavors in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and fell in love with both climbing and the people around it.
What hooked us was the way everyone cheered each other on. We’re all trying to get better, but we’re not competing against each other. Someone else reaching the top is a reason to celebrate. Someone figuring out a tricky move might be exactly the help you need. There’s room for everyone on the wall.
Brian is a software developer. Connie is the creative one. Together, we’re building a brand that celebrates that spirit of inclusion, encouragement, and having a good time trying something hard.
Shirts that make another climber look twice.
Knot a Gang started with a very practical problem: we needed more clothes to get covered in chalk and sweat. We wanted something fun to wear to the gym, so we set out to make tees that earn a double-take.
Our designs mix climbing elements with unexpected themes. We want you to like the graphic first, then spot the climbing connection: “Oh, that’s a climbing tee! Awesome!” Something that feels just as at home away from the gym as it does between attempts on your project.

Knot a Gang is for everyone. To us, wearing one of our shirts says you’re an ally, a cheerleader, and someone who welcomes others into the fun. We have nothing to prove. We’re just trying to make it past that next crux, and a little help is always welcome. We’d love to help you reach that next hold, too.
And sometimes, it’s just nice to hang out with nice people while you’re resting between climbs.
